Wednesday Wisdom: QOTD

That’s right, good ‘ol Quote Of The Day. I felt like I kept struggling with figuring out what I was trying to do by blogging in the first place, and deciding that from here on out, my Wednesday posts will consist of a quote that I’ve found to be inspiring or uplifting. That seems to be what people are needing more of these days, especially as we near the dreaded 2016 U.S. election results. It’s been a very crazy debate cycle, and I know people who heard their neighborhoods explode into gunshots after the last one. Apparently Trump mentioned Second Amendment rights, or something?

I suppose it’s good to be reminded that no matter how secure we thought our future was, if we are true followers of Christ, we should know that our future is always in His capable hands. The results of the election will hopefully move our nation forward, and it makes me think of this phrase: “Thy Will be done” and I feel a little better.

This week’s quote:

For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
